Explore Sauvignon Blanc with me through my method of tasting with color theory.
A hint of lemon might make you think yellow. Use yellow as a sensory reference: could you also notice golden apple, pineapple, or a delicate chamomile note? Let that color spark connections, then return to the glass to explore which ones you actually smell or taste.
This is the heart of my approach: notice a sensation, connect it to a color, and use that color to explore the wine further. Your own memories become a starting point for finding words, recognizing patterns, and remembering what you enjoy.
Together, we’ll work through the interactive journal, connecting aromas, flavors, and texture to sensory colors. You’ll practice describing what you notice and keep connections you can revisit the next time you taste.
